General Works
Among the relatively few books listed in this chapter, several important works bear special mention: Herder's Wörterbuch der Pädagogik (D20) in education and Staatslexikon (D151) in political science are both monumental and scholarly attempts to express a Catholic viewpoint in these fields. The Dictionnaire de droit canonique (D172) and Emmerich's Atlas hierarchicus (D195) are also important enough in their fields to deserve special attention.
