Bibliography

International bibliographic control sponsored by, or emphasizing, Catholic philosophers has been well covered in the twentieth century. The chief tool since 1934 has been the //Repertoire bibliographique de la philosophie //(C7) produced at the University of Louvain, from which also comes the //Bulletin de la philosophie medieval //(C9).

For English language works, McLean's series: Philosophy of the 20th Century: Catholic and Christian (C3 and C4) is an important source of bibliography. Another good, general introduction to this literature is the philosophy section in Regis' //Catholic Bookman's Guide //(A19): "Ancient and Medieval Philosophy" (pp. 217-66); "Modern Philosophy" (pp. 267-92); and "The Philosophy of Science" (pp. 293-328).
