The most recent translation, also by the Dominicans. Latin and English texts are printed side by side with introductions and copious notes. Each volume contains a number of appendixes explaining doctrinal matters not sufficiently clear in the text, a glossary of the English terms used in a philosophical sense, and an index. The appearance of the first few volumes was the occasion for much critical acclaim (e.g., Catholic Library World, XXXVII [May-June, 1966], p. 602).
